The HoH 2022 collection features two different coloured warps. Six of the twelve herringbones feature a soft misty grey warp, that form the Mist Herringbones. (The other six feature a dark stormy grey warp and form the Storm Herringbones.)

The forces of nature, in particular the water, have always been key to the production of heritage woollen fabrics, hence the notoriety of Yorkshire-made wool. Winding Waterways - Mist Herringbone takes inspiration from the network of evocative rivers and streams within the Pennine uplands that house the mills and hills of Yorkshire.
Featuring chevrons of mid-blue and darker undertones, contrasting with its Mist warp, the overall tone of Winding Waterways is a rich and perennially pleasing blue. The classic light warp creates an overall hue of elegant denim tonality, ideal for teaming alongside your favourite denim pieces.
The Herringbones are a collection of closely woven, versatile fabrics with a medium weight and a gentle woolly feel that boasts a stable handle and drape to be trusted to form pretty gathers. Perfect for a plethora of sewing room projects, the Mist & Storm Herringbones will always do as they are told. Wool of this kind is easy to sew and will stand the test of time.
Wool fabric has been used in garment manufacturing for generations. Did you know the first recorded piece of woollen clothing was produced over 10,000 years ago? These Yorkshire Tweeds are timeless classics, with their medium weight allowing for exceptional versatility in both clothing, craft and light soft furnishings.

Nice colour, I can't wait to make a bag out of it!
A lovely lightweight tweed with a smooth finish that is lovely to work with, and which is a beautiful muted shade of blue.- I bought it to make a lightweight jacket and it is tcoming together very well (work in progress)
I chose this for our headboard for our updated bedroom. It's a lovely fabric. Not too thick so ideal for clothes as well. I have some offcuts so I might make a hat out of those!
The wool is fantastic to sew with, it’s a lovely medium weight making it warm to wear but it’s not too bulky when you’re wearing it, it’s quite light on your body and comfortable to wear.
It’s very easy to acquire a professional finish with the HOH wools, such as topstitching, pressing and hemming, because they’re easy to work with. - Jill
Fabulously rich tone of colour and super easy to work with.
