This delicious natural-hued cotton base denim sports a versatile charcoal grey/washed black hue on the face. These washed black-hued cotton yarns form the warp and are then interwoven throughout the weft in natural white cotton yarn. The combination of the two yarns produces a pleasing classic denim style.
Denim is super versatile! Charcoal can be easily dressed and fashioned into smarter silhouettes with sharp detailing - neat, contrasting, natural topstitching and metallic hardware. They are also perfect for creating dressed-down styles and distressed/worn areas for statement fashions.
Properties:
Charcoal boasts a pleasing absorbent cotton hand, feeling softer on the reverse, whilst the diagonal ridges of the twill weave emphasise the hard-wearing quality on the face. This medium-heavyweight denim is stable, and structured and will soften with washing and wear, making it suitable for a wide range of stylish and practical purposes.

Denim is practical and hard-wearing thanks to its close weave construction with lightly raised diagonal ridges, and its strong heavier weight yarns. The fine twill weave, stable handle, (often with slight ease width-wise) mediumweight, reassuringly heavy drape and pleasing cotton feel, these fabrics make perfect for a plethora of hard-wearing fun and fab garments.
These fabrics boasts excellent strength, stability and a versatile handle. They will drape well (when used at length) and has a pleasing malleable hand, yet will hold crisp details such as collars and top-stitched panels: characteristic of jeans and utility styles.
