Refunds & Returns

Please note that refunds and returns are not the same as each other and are dealt with in different ways.

Refunds & Exchanges
  • Primarily, we want Fabworks Online customers to be happy & satisfied
  • Our team will endeavour to provide fabric in the best possible condition
  • When queries arise we will do our best to resolve any issues and keep you updated on your query
  • If there is a fault or your item is damaged and you have not been aware of this prior to receipt, and you would like a refund/exchange for the same item, we will do this as soon as we receive the goods back. Please contact us via email first at enquiries@fabworksonline.co.uk
  • Our refunds/exchange policy lasts 21 days from receipt of goods. If this time has passed and you have not contacted us we cannot offer a refund or exchange
Reimbursement
  • We will notify you when we receive your returned item(s) and notify you when your refund has been approved
  • You will be reimbursed by form of a credit to the same payment method used for your initial payment. This will only happen after we have received the fabric back in full and original condition
Returning Non-Faulty Goods

Fabworks does not offer returns for Cut Length fabrics, Samples, or Matching Threads.

Cut Lengths: We regret that we cannot accept returns of Cut Length fabrics unless they are faulty. All fabrics are cut to order as per the specification on your order. For all online products we provide as much detail as possible to give a clear description of the item, using our vast knowledge and experience. We strongly recommend that you order a Sample (all samples are 12cm x 20cm unless stated) of every fabric to assess its suitability before ordering a Cut Length. The Sample Service provided is to there to support you in picking a suitable fabric and allows you to make sure that the fabric is exactly as you expect and fit for your intended purpose.

Samples: We regret that we cannot accept returns of Samples. You may be entitled to a refund of your Sample if the product's Cut Length option is sold out before you receive your Sample.

Matching Thread: We regret that we cannot accept returns of Matching Threads. Fabworks offers a matching thread service for all Cut Length fabrics. By purchasing this item variant you agree for Fabworks to make an informed decision on the best coordinating thread available for your Cut Length fabric that will be included with the coordinating fabrics in your order.

In special circumstances where returns are agreed between yourself and Fabworks, we must receive the returned goods back within 21 days of notification. Please wait for confirmation before sending anything back.

You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning an item. For any exchanges we will cover this cost. Please do not let postage costs exceed our original dispatch charge.
