Shade: A palette of gentle grey hues with areas of subtle lilac features in this excellent geometric jacquard. This subtle, almost ombre palette will sit perfectly with all tones of grey and purple.
Design: Geometric Zig Zag is cleverly woven using the jacquard technique, where intricate designs are closely woven in contrasting tones and hues, and therefore appear almost reversible in some cases. This attention to detail creates quality fabrics.
Style: Graphic, geometric, subtly striking, modern or retro, depending on your aesthetic and silhouettes
Properties:
Texture: Lightly textured with an almost grainy, linen-like feel akin to a closely woven medium-weight linen. The repeating woven design has slight texture differences where the two tones of grey appear in differing weave constructions.
Handle: It is stable in width and lengthwise; this medium-weight, closely woven fabric is malleable with gentle bias ease.
Drape: This fabric will drape reassuringly, perfect for creating hard-wearing soft furnishings.
Garment Suggestions:
Types: Although this is a fabric designed for curtaining, we have seen some truly unique garments made from our cotton curtain materials, such as utility style pieces, jackets and dungarees.
Patterns: Consider patterns such as the Ilford Jacket, the Lynsey Dungarees, the Osborn Dungarees or the Cordelia Trousers
Other Uses:
Accessories: Create matching garment accessories: clutch bags, make-up pouches, hats and caps.
