This iconic Liberty tana lawn is printed with William Morris Anemone, based on an original Morris Arts & Crafts design. This classic Morris design features stylised pale terracotta anemone flowers surrounded by curling and intertwining foliage in a muted dry leaf-beige tone. Avocado green and brown outlines add definition to the whole design which is a true masterpiece and subtle autumnal alternative to its sister fabric Anemone Blue. The fine details in this design are quite enchanting, from the masterfully drawn foliage to the tiny stamens inside the lush flowers.
With all the wonderful characteristics of Liberty lawn; soft, smooth, light and drapey yet stable width and lengthwise with good bias stretch (perfect for making your own bias binding). This iconic fabric is perfect for pretty shirts & blouses, and summer & autumnal dresses with finely gathered and pleated skirts. We love the Wildergown by The Friday Pattern Company or Marilla Walker's Belemnite Dress.
Imagine wearing a superbly tailored shirt in this stunner teamed with a classic neat wool pencil skirt and matching boxy jacket - perfect in beautiful wool tweed. Try Ontario Checked Wool Flannel & Honeycomb Harvest where the autumnal tones are superb.

I purchased this fabric to use as a lining in a chore jacket. Really nice to work with, feels silky and substantial enough not to be transparent. as the other reviewer mentioned the colour is not as vibrant as expected but I quite liked the subtly for its purpose as a lining.
The brown and orange was a little different and much lighter colours than expected
