Introduction:

This superb crinkle textured linen and cotton blend comes to you in a classic fresh tone (like mist clinging to a mountainside), making it ideal for a plethora of pleasing garment projects.

A new addition to the website and manufactured by the same renowned European company as our summer Linens of 2021. These new additions are the same quality and with even more colours designs and natural fibre types.

Suitable whether you are clothing you and yours, or producing a range of niche boutique wear. Natural fibre blend fabrics with timeless appeal.

Design:

Into the Mist - Jacquard Crinkle Linen & Cotton boasts a wonderfully textured look and feel. This is thanks to the fine linen and cotton yarns and the textured jacquard weave, which is woven into an almost leopard spot design. The lightly raised patches/spots have a blister cloth look, akin to cloque.

Properties:

This blended fabric gives you the benefits of both wonderful natural fibres. Cotton blended with linen produces a softer, finer fabric which results in fewer creases when worn, which in turn makes it easier to iron.

The blistered areas occur when the yarns shrink and crinkle at a different rate to the background areas in the finishing process. This fresh, light and airy natural blend fabric boasts a reassuringly soft (almost ethereal) drape quality and is stable across the width and length. The crinkled nature of this fabric makes it easy-wear and easy-care, similar to cheesecloth or seersucker.
