A combination of sweet and chic hues make this impeccably woven fine lambswool, jacket-weight fabric the perfect choice for spring and early summer makes. Natural cream, rich fudge-beige and dark liquorice black alternate across the warp to form the verticals of a windowpane check sitting over a classic houndstooth check.
An injection of the sweetest strawberry pink is woven through the warp alongside the cream and fudge to form the horizontals of the windowpane check. This fabric has a wonderfully gentle and feminine aesthetic. Sweet & Chic is the perfect colour combination for adding to your key black and beige wardrobe staples for instant style.
Properties:
Create classic separates and stand-alone garments from this Sweet & Chic confection. superfine, soft lambswool yarns, closely and intricately woven form a fabric of the ideal suit weight for spring - this is medium-lightweight with a stable hand, lightly brushed feel and the softest drape quality - perfect for bias cutting and forming, soft details like ruffles, peplums etc. It will also form classic sharp details when pressed and interfaced- think pleats, pocket flaps, collars, tabs and epaulettes. What a great all-rounder.

The classic pencil skirt and matching neat collarless jacket come to mind when handling/ sampling this all-rounder. If trousers are more your style this is ideal for neat cigarette-style pants to wide-leg, pleat-fronted trousers or The Cordelia Trousers.
