Shade: A neutral but lustrous silver-beige hue gives this textured, semi-crushed chenille (latex-backed) upholstery fabric a luxurious style without being ostentatious. Neutral hues have a certain timeless style and sit alongside most other colours and tones.
Design: A Solid, flat weave at the base, woven with a warm beige matte yarn, features the highly lustrous Silver mist chenille weft yarn (on the face). The chenille's directional pile has a semi-crushed, subtly striated appearance, adding depth and visual interest.
Style: This hardwearing, tactile fabric is ideal for a wide range of styles—from modern boxy silhouettes to retro, vintage, and traditional aesthetics—depending on how it’s styled.
Properties:
Texture: Silver Mist has a soft and silky, lightly brushed texture. The directional, napped pile combines the pleasing feel of cotton with the elegant lustre of silk.
Handle: This fabric boasts a very stable hand in both width and lengthwise, with some bias ease. The coated latex-like backing adds further strength and dimensional stability, prevents seam slippage and fraying-tearing when manipulated in the upholstery process.
Drape: This sumptuous upholstery fabric will drape reassuringly with a heavy drape quality when used at length. Luxurious and practical, it's ideal for keeping draughts out while elevating your space with a refined aesthetic.
