Specifications:

Weight: Medium

GSM: 440

Composition: 100% Wools

Width: 145cm / 57.1inch

Colour:

This deliciously indulgent solid black all-wool melton has a subtle blue undertone and pleasing lustrous sheen akin to the semi-precious stone of its namesake. Black Tourmaline is said to have spiritual properties of grounding and centring, plus dispelling negative energies. We cannot guarantee this first-rate woollen fabric will provide the said spiritual effects... be assured you will certainly be protected from the elements and be centred and focused on your sharp style!! Classic black is always a winner.

Properties:

This fabric will keep out the elements of nature- showerproof, windproof and snagproof, naturally fire retardant and temperature regulatory. Black Tourmaline has a lightly textured semi-dense finish where the twill base weave can be discerned but is obscured by the felting process producing a pleasing fuzzy texture that's cosy and insulating. This fabric is less prone to fraying but will fray slightly if the fibres are pulled apart. This fabric boasts a strong and stable hand and a reassuringly heavy drape quality with a subtle sheen.

Garment Suggestions:

Asymmetric poncho styles, Ruanas etc, capes, overcoats etc. Kusama jackets, worker jackets etc.

Other Uses:

Hats, caps, bags, messenger, tote, duffel etc. as for other meltons.
