Forget school uniforms, these are premium pieces designed for actual military use.
You will find gabardines, twills, serges, puppytooths and other classic styles in this collection, all of which are perfect for cargo pants, trench coats, bodywarmers, military jackets, utility wear & other classic military styles.
Supple and malleable like suiting wools but with more weight! Think practical, sturdy fabrics that are built to stand the test of time. Featuring gold-woven selvedges ~ a sure sign of quality.
This collection was launched in August 2025, and has very limited availability of 20-30m of each fabric available in total!

Perfectly Imperfect Notice:
This cloth was saved from a West Yorkshire woollen manufacturer, where it would otherwise have been destroyed. Rescuing good cloth from waste is what Fabworks is for. This piece carries slubs and knots on the face of the cloth. Slubs and knots are inherent in wool as a natural fibre rather than a manufacturing error, but they appear here more frequently than we would normally pass, so we have priced it accordingly. Many makers consider them part of the character of a natural cloth. We strongly advise ordering a sample, or a 0.5m Cut Length, to inspect the cloth in detail before committing to a project. Hazy Ultramarine boasts a beautiful blue green colour with hazy undertones of teal. This pensive blue hue is reminiscent of calm, deep blue harbours. It is perfect for those who love jewel tones and looks amazing colour blocked against equally rich tones such as amethyst, plum, burnt orange and autumn leaf hues.
