You will find gabardines, twills, serges, puppytooths and other classic styles in this collection, all of which are perfect for cargo pants, trench coats, bodywarmers, military jackets, utility wear & other classic military styles.
Supple and malleable like suiting wools but with more weight! Think practical, sturdy fabrics that are built to stand the test of time. Featuring gold-woven selvedges ~ a sure sign of quality.

This fabric forms part of a collection of superb, finely woven wool uniform fabrics, all manufactured in Huddersfield by an independent producer. Many were originally commissioned for military uniforms and were specifically made to suit the hot climates of the Middle East. Expect fine-quality, hard-wearing, elegant and super-smart fabrics. Shade: This classic Navy Blue is a solid navy blue tone, but because the fine yarns are woven in a lustrous twill stripe, the fabric almost appears two-tone, where the light intensifies the dark lustrous stripes and the spaces in between appear a more muted matte tone.
Design: This seriously smart wool blend uniform type fabric is woven in a pleasing and hardwearing vertical, lightly raised twill stripe.
Style: Classic, timeless, versatile. Perfect for wardrobe staples and statement pieces alike. Easily styled up or down, whether paired with tailoring or your favourite jeans.

Texture: A fine, lightly textured fabric with the look of a classic suiting fabric and all the properties of a uniform woollen designed for hard wear. None irritant, and crease resistant.
Handle: This fabric is stable both widthwise and lengthwise. With its medium weight and gentle bias ease, it’s a reliable all-rounder that handles well and sews beautifully.
Drape: Expect a soft, weighty drape with a satisfying 'swish' when used in volume. It forms crisp pleats, tucks, and elegant ruffles with excellent body, perfect for structured silhouettes or fluid tailoring.
