Perfectly Imperfect Notice:
This stunning Slinky Soft Touch Viscose Jersey – Royal Sapphire came to us with some minor imperfections caused during storage. The fabric was folded on a bolt board, resulting in pressure marks appearing throughout its length. These marks have caused slight variations in the overall colouring where they occur, creating subtle tonal distortions against the rich Royal Sapphire blue.
We've examined this fabric closely and, whilst it isn't quite perfect, it remains wonderfully soft, drapey and completely serviceable for a wide range of dressmaking projects. The pressure marks appear approximately every 20cm and are visible as faint lines where the fabric has been subjected to prolonged pressure during folding.
In true Fabworks fashion, we don't put our name to something we wouldn't be happy with ourselves. Although these imperfections are noticeable upon inspection due to the vibrant jewel-toned colouring, they do not affect the fabric's comfort, handle or performance. This fabric is still a fantastic choice for creating stylish, flowing garments, with a minor fault that many makers will find easy to work around.

Properties:
This slinky viscose blend Jersey is ideal for use as a stretch lining for lacey, sheer or crochet fabrics or simply elegant as stand-alone garments. The high viscose and elastane content produces a cool feel and heavy fluid drape.
Royal Sapphire has an amazingly slinky and weighty, elastic drapey handle that boasts a subtle sheen. This is the sort of fabric you can throw into your suitcase and it won't crease.
Its four-way stretch and amazing fluid drape mean it will make a plethora of fabulous garments! This fabric is slightly translucent when held to the light so best suited to use as a lining or for garments with lots of fullness and draped layers.
