Introduction:
Slate Check - Brushed Polyester Herringbone is a quintessential country check fabric, designed to be used primarily as a furnishing fabric, curtains, blinds, cushions, upholstery etc. We think this super soft brushed twill will also make superb craft projects and even coats!
Colour:
Slate Check sets the ground for fine navy herringbone whilst a classic windowpane check of poppy-red and pale sky blue intersecting parallel lines create interest and the opportunity to colour match and accessorise.
Properties:
Slate Check boasts a superb stable hand and reassuringly heavy drape quality providing cosy comfort. The face side is brushed to a pleasing low pile which boasts a Martindale rub count of 50,000+ making it extremely durable.
The un-brushed reverse side displays the hard-wearing herringbone weave and is immaculately presented making it suitable for use, should you choose to have the brushed side to the inside.
Garment Suggestions:
Slate Check we love the soft brushed feel of this excellent fabric so much we're sure it will also make fabulous, shackets, coats, bomber jackets, field jackets and other faux tweed apparel. Hats, bags, caps etc.
