Highland Romance Plaid - Polycotton Voile is a beautiful light and airy voile fabric, woven with superfine navy polyester & cotton yarns, and printed with a classic Black Watch style tartan overcheck. The complementary spruce green and black overcheck sits perfectly alongside the rich navy, producing a timeless air of elegance. These classic tartan styles have been given modern popularity by top fashion designers from Alexander McQueen, to Viv Westwood and Dolce & Gabanna.
Highland Romance Plaid - Polycotton Voile has a feminine translucent look that’s both smart and sophisticated, perfect for creating floaty feminine styles with fine gathers and ruffle details. Boasting good stability length and width wise and a soft drape quality too.
Perfect uses are boho styles such as peasant and prairie tops and dresses such as The Friday Pattern Co - Wildergown and Stitchless TV's 'Pontoon Tier Dress'. Line it with a fine cotton lawn for extra comfort (and modesty).
