Guacamole Dip - Double Width Washed Linen is a delicious soft avocado green with a hazy almost frosted appearance, akin to a washed and worn look / feel.
Properties:
This hard-wearing heavyweight linen fabric has the characteristic lightly textured look and slubby feel of good quality linen. A reassuring malleable drape quality and hard-wearing stability make for a mountain of uses. Perfect for many styles of curtains, blinds, pelmets and all the other stylish home furnishings you will want to create from this excellent double width fabric.
Uses:
The 310cm width allows for curtains to be made without joining widths for tracks and poles which usually require more than one standard (140cm) width per curtain. Furnish your home with style, creating curtains, blinds, pelmets, cushions, lampshades, table covers, placemats, kitchen accessories such as: aprons, oven gloves, etc. This hard-wearing fabric will make fabulous tote bags, holdalls, make-up bags and purses too!
We think this gorgeous Guacamole will also make wonderfully relaxed easy-wear linen separates, pinafore dresses, utility-style jackets, and The Pattern Stash - Lynsey Dungarees. NB: This fabric was originally designed for home furnishings and may be more prone to shrinkage. We recommend purchasing a sample first, or additional fabric lengths to conduct your own laundry tests. Fabworks is not responsible once the fabric is in the your possession.
If a sample (12cm x 20cm) is not a sufficient size, we suggest ordering 1 unit x 0.5m CUT LENGTH (half metre) when planning new projects, this will also demonstrate how the fabric drapes and handles.
