Introduction:
Fan Dance Fish is a tightly woven polyester blend fabric with a superfine horizontal ribbed detail. This fabric is used widely in high fashion and exudes a quality finish and practicality due to its strength, stability, and versatile handle. This new collection of laser print polyester and Spandex fabrics is super fun with a high-quality finish and comes in a choice of fabulous designs.
Colour:
A white-based fabric printed with the most romantic design of exotic fantail goldfish. The scintillating fish swirl around the design like exotic fan dancers and are painted with a spectrum of rainbow hues. Blues, oranges, greens and golds predominate.
Properties:
Fan Dance Fish has the feel of a superfine, but dense, crepe-type fabric. Spandex provides a firm retentive stretch and ease of movement when making fitted garments. It is otherwise stable and has the most stretch across the bias. A medium-heavy drape quality makes it an ideal all-rounder. Whether you are creating softly flared skater-style dresses with fitted bodices to simple circle skirts.
It will drape in garments with length and hold firmer details; collar cuffs, waistbands, front bands, and facings. Similar in handle to a dense double crepe but with a smoother squishy feel.
NB: You may need to sew this fabric with a ballpoint needle due to the stretch.
Garment suggestions
Create fun clothing from simple hoodies to bomber jackets, shackets, slim-fit ski pants, and cute dungarees. Add a contrasting black Ponte or scuba fabric to create college-style bomber jacket sleeves or use for neck and hip bands to create simple sweatshirts.
Other Uses:
Tote bags, hats, caps, pencil cases and backpacks.
