Introduction:

New to Fabworks Online, some of our favourite furnishing restockable fabrics from Fabworks Mill Shop.

This fantastic collection of embossed/printed velvets is ideal for soft furnishings, upholstery and craft projects. These fabrics have been available at Fabworks Mill Shop for some time now, being very popular due to the versatility and usability of this collection. 

Colour:

Dapple Pony - Furnishing Velour boasts a perennially favourite hue- a light grey beige like the tones in a dapple grey horse's coat -with an enviable lustrous sheen too. Deeper (shadow-like) tones of grey are showcased in an interesting almost textural embossed and printed design that emulates the look of pony fur with its whirls and contours where the fur lays. Use this as a seriously stylish main feature for your soft furnishing creations or incorporate it into patterned schemes as a semi-solid hue for sitting alongside a similar colour palette. 

Properties:

These luxuriously drapey, super soft,  and seriously stable velvets boast a short yet luxuriously silken pile with the soft touch of moleskin and subtle sheen. A reassuring medium-heavy drape provides luxurious style opportunities. A woven bonded backing adds extra stability offering the opportunity for upholstery projects.

If a Sample is not sufficient, we suggest ordering 1 unit of 0.5m CUT LENGTH (a half metre) for style ideas when planning new projects, wash testing & seeing a full pattern repeat.
