Chocolate Rain is woven in a a classic twill weave using a lovely milky twisted yarn on the weft and a delicious dark chocolate yarn on the warp. The contrasting diagonal lines created by the twill weave look like a down pour of chocolate rain.
This chunky, wool blend coating has a touch of added polyester to make it a little more hard-wearing and less likely to shrink. Chocolate Rain is a closely woven medium / heavy weight fabric and is stable width and lengthwise, boasting a reassuringly heavy and soft drape quality meaning it's perfect for retro '70s and '80s style overcoats (with large collar and pocket details). Try double breasted coats for an authentic '80s look or skirted & belted styles for a very '70s vibe.
