This overall tonality of this silky pinstripe fabric appears as an (almost) charcoal grey with silver stripe. However, it is actually comprised of the darkest night-sky blue (leaning to grey, rather than inky black) which means that its delicate white pinstripe stands out clearly without screaming its presence and being off-key. Instead it sings its quality like a top flight opera star.
Made in England and with a woven selvedge announcing its prominence, this is true British wool worsted cloth, designed for elegant smart styles.

Dormeuil suitings are of the highest quality and often sold for vast sums per metre. This top quality cloth is soft and supple in the hand, has a classic suiting-style lustre, and will drape beautifully thanks to its light weight and silky properties.
Garment Suggestions:
Whilst a formal suit would look superb (especially with a brighter lining), this classic quality fabric would be equally stunning given a Vivienne Westwood ’tweak’ into the more adventurous, using the pinstripes on the bias and creating the asymmetric. A versatile virtuoso, so create your own solo piece with it.
