Colour:

Shimmering Mink boasts a superb rich tortoiseshell-brown hue with the shimmering metallic effect characteristic of sequins. The sheer, voile-like tulle backing and the translucent nature of the sequins will produce interesting tones when used with different coloured backing/lining/base fabrics. Use over gold to create a warmer amber hue, alternatively, use over our Ristretto Brown - Twill Satin to achieve a deeper brown hue.

Properties:

Shimmering Mink boasts a natural widthwise stretch and slight ease down the length due to the fine tulle backing. The fabric is reassuringly weighty producing a luxurious drape where required. Thanks to its tulle backing this quality sequin fabric is fairly stable; making it perfect for slightly more structured silhouettes which will require zips. Cleverly created by stitching rows of interlocking (6-7mm) sequins onto a fine tulle base fabric, there are deep selvedges of 21cm and 12cm on either linear edges that are excellent for utilising areas where you may wish to customise or for hems.
