Design:
Summer Sketch is a superb fabric featuring a pretty, vintage style floral. This lively printed design has a wonderful sketched watercolour style, reminiscent of carefree summer days and simpler times.
Colour:
The natural white base fabric plays host to navy pen and ink outlines of simplistic florals and foliage, a palette of pretty pastel watercolours in fresh pink, blue and mint green accentuated by pops of yellow and red that complete the vintage look. Let this dainty fabric transport you to happy summer escapes. All you need is to decide what you would like to make.
Properties:
This natural fibre blend (with the authentic rustic look of linen) makes this beauty strong yet breathable, and also kind to sensitive skin. Stable width and lengthwise handle with a reassuring drape quality too. Its light/medium weight is slightly translucent when used flat, cotton muslin will add the perfect lining for modesty.
Garment Suggestions:
The excellent combination of pretty pastels is perfect for easy outfits. Accessorise stand-alone pieces with red shoes and handbags to bring out pops of colour from the flowers.
