Overview:

Copper Beech is a superior quality, heavyweight deluxe furnishing velvet in a warm copper brown, made for upholstery and cosy interiors.

If you love Copper Beech, you'll love its sisters: Nightshade Purple and Riverbed Taupe.

Specifications:

Weight: Heavy

GSM: 577

Composition: 100% Polyester

Width: 146cm / 57.5inch

Colour:

Overall: The fires of autumn. Cosy, warm and texturally more interesting than a plain velvet.

Shades: A warm copper brown, the colour of copper beech leaves in autumn.

Design: Deluxe furnishing velvet with a dense short pile, featuring subtle wood-grain like horizontal striations peeping through the pile.

Properties:

Texture: A dense, short, luxurious pile with a soft-touch surface and a subtle sheen, closely knitted in a superfine gauge so the pile sits evenly and catches the light rather than glaring.

Handle: Superior quality furnishing and upholstery velvet. Stable lengthwise with a small amount of retentive stretch across the width, soft and malleable in the hand.

Drape: A reassuring medium to heavy drape that falls in generous folds, ideal for curtains and long lengths.

Garment Suggestions:

Types: It does not have to stop at furnishings: coats, jacket and blazer styles.

Patterns: Browse our Jackets, Blazers & Coats Sewing Patterns.

Other Uses:

Accessories: Clutch bags, make-up bags, purses, hats and caps.

  • Scatter cushions
  • Furnishing accessories (door stops, draught excluders, etc.)
  • Re-covering old chairs and other furniture for a new lease of life
