Treat yourself to some luxury with super soft, premium quality scarves, throws and ponchos

Fabworks sells quality cloth remainders (technically termed deadstock) from upmarket designers and manufacturers as well as commissioning its own wool tweeds woven locally using surplus yarns, which avoids waste and promotes sustainability. We can offer premium quality at surprisingly affordable prices.

Not only do we provide fabric for sewing, at this time of year we also offer high end cashmere, lambswool, mohair and merino scarves, throws and ponchos, made by prestigious British manufacturers, available at a fraction of the normal retail price. Our delivery service is swift, and so there is still time to purchase Christmas gifts and have them safely wrapped under the tree, all in good time.

Treat yourself to some luxury with super soft, premium quality scarves, throws and ponchos.

Whilst ‘just a scarf’ might seem a makeweight gift, a high quality, super soft cashmere scarf is one that will be appreciated and treasured, and a woollen throw is perfect for winter ‘hygge’. The scarves are available in various sizes, from infinity scarves that will never fall off, to large wide scarves over 2m long which are super cosy layers.

Please note that all items are very limited in their availability, with no option for restocking once sold out

100% Cashmere Poncho - Cragg Vale Chunky Herringbone

A sooty black blend of charcoal and true black in a chunky herringbone weave, with three buttons and a 79cm drop from neck to tip, this cashmere classic oozes quality and style.

100% Lambswool Scarf - Banana Fudge

The touch of banana yellow gives a catchy highlight to this classic fudge and cream, with black overcheck. A gorgeous scarf that is wrap-length at 202cm x 70cm, you can have your fudge and bananas without a single calorie!

100% Merino Wool Infinity Scarf - Land Girl Check

An infinity scarf will never fall off or get caught in a door. This merino scarf, 25cm wide, was made, as are all our infinity scarves this season, by a highly renowned Yorkshire company, and bearing their label. This delightful blend of greens and russet is both understated but far from drab and perfect country wear.

About Fabworks

Fabworks is a twenty first century iteration of a more than century old family firm in the heartland of West Yorkshire, known as The Woollen District. We love fabric and offer a huge selection of primarily wools, linens and cottons, produced predominantly by the expert weavers of Yorkshire, Northern Italy and other locales that specialise in premium textile manufacturing.

With generations of heritage and expertise in textiles, Fabworks is extremely well connected to the UK's most prestigious natural fibre textile manufacturers. We are passionate about fabric and we share this passion with our discerning customers in the form of exclusive offerings, a friendly customer service and remarkably affordable prices. This is only possible as a result of our connections and textiles knowledge.

More About Fabworks

Many of the fabrics in Fabworks' product range were originally commissioned by high end fashion designers for their seasonal collections. Fabworks began selling this ‘deadstock’, which, amazingly, would otherwise go to landfill or even be destroyed when there was no longer warehouse space. However, increasingly we are commissioning our own fabrics, amongst which is our own exclusive collection of wool tweeds, with minimum ecological impact. Our aim is to provide the home sewist with the quality fabrics to enable them to create their ‘self-bespoke’ wardrobe, where clothes fit the wearer, not a theoretical model, and are not restricted to ‘style of the season’ or made in unethical workshops.

Visit our bricks and mortar store in West Yorkshire, Fabworks Mill Shop, if you find yourself near Leeds, Wakefield or Huddersfield. Fabworks is a short drive away, where you will discover a plethora of all things fabric to explore.
