Hide & Seek is woven from superfine worsted yarns of a classic dark grey palette. This versatile palette may seem plain but take a close look at the fine weave and you will be amazed by the infinite detail of two slightly different weave patterns, creating a subtle, barely there, Glen Urquart Check. Catch glimpses of this detail when it steals into the light of the subtle sheen and then retreats again to play hide and seek.
This first-rate suiting fabric has a stable handle, length and width wise, and an exquisite no-crease drape quality too. Hide & Seek is perfect for a plethora of sewing room uses - suiting fabrics are not simply for suits of course!
If suit-making isn't your forte, fear not! Put this superb fabric to use for less formal but equally smart outfits, such as oversized shirts, dresses, tunics, pinafore dresses and skirts too. The Merchant & Mills 'Shirt Dress' and 'Trapeze Dress' will look stunning in this fabric. There's also a simple drawstring-waist trouser pattern too (The 101 Trouser), which will work perfectly.
