Damson - Faux Silky Suede this fabulous faux suede fabric is part of a small collection of solid-hued super soft, silky yet hard wearing low pile, suede look fabrics. Originally created for use in the soft furnishing industry.
Colour:
Damson is as its name suggests a deliciously dark, plummy burgundy that displays silken, lustrous multi-tones when draped and manipulated.
Properties:
Damson boasts a seriously soft and silky feel which begs to be stroked. The reverse side, without the pile displays the fine twill weave which creates a strong, stable hand perfect for a multitude of hard-wearing soft furnishings. A soft and reassuringly weighty drape quality makes this first-rate fabric perfect for curtains and blinds.

We know you'll love the silky feel of this excellent fabric so much we're sure it will also make fabulous bomber jackets, aviator jackets and other faux suede apparel. Sew Different's Scoop Pinafore would make up like a dream!
