Lovely cotton fabric

Bargain price so could not resist. Made a shirt for myself, and it sewed up very well. I used poppers instead of buttons, using my new Prym Creative Tool for the first time. It feels lovely next to the skin. Does crease, but it is cotton so to be expected.

Bargain cotton fabric

I was dubious of the quality of this fabric especially as it was so cheap. After unpacking I was glad to find the fabric looked and felt brilliant. As I wash all my fabrics before sewing, I was surprised it 'bled' quite a lot -something I hadn't given much thought to -my main aim was to prevent shrinkage, but after adding salt to the rinsing water it gradually ran clear. So very pleased with my 'bargain' buy- but maybe pre-wash!

Excellent value

Amazing price for a substantial cotton fabric which is being used to make a dressing gown ( Simplicity 8800) and is proving a good choice. It also arrived very quickly in the post!

Summer shirts….

Extremely pleased with the 2 fabrics bought. The quality is wonderful, crisp and easy to stitch, and unbelievable quality for the price. I’m looking forward to making up the second fabric. As a previous reviewer says, the pattern is small.

Exactly as described

Exactly what it says in the description: think of a very good quality, fine, high thread count shirt. Pattern is extremely small scale. At this price, it would be rude not to!
