Shade: A base fabric of natural beige/oatmeal hue gives this fabric a pleasing, relaxed cottagecore style. The addition of mellow olive-green embroidery adds to the wholesome, natural aesthetic.
Design: The wool blend, the oatmeal beige base of this fabric is woven in a fine and close twill weave with grey striated, marled overtones. A repeating embroidered crewel-work design features snowflakes with a fern-like quality thanks to their colour.
Style: Relaxed, cottage-core, Scandi country, ski chalet aesthetic.
Properties:
Texture: This closely woven wool blend fabric features the typically lightly brushed characteristic of a fine wool serge. The embroidered crewel work snowflake motifs feature a lightly raised, structured texture.
Handle: Fern Snowflakes is stable in width and lengthwise, with natural bias ease.
Drape: A reassuring, cosy drape quality will be achieved when using this fabric at length. The fabric is malleable with more structure at the site of the embroidered motifs. When presented to the light, the fabric displays slight translucency.

Types: Although this is a fabric designed for curtaining, we have seen some truly unique garments made from our curtain materials, such as utility style pieces, jackets and dungarees.
