This fine, corded stretch lace has a little added silver lurex to provide just a touch of sparkle - perfect for adding a little pizazz to otherwise plain black ensembles and ideal for combining with plain black jersey for quick makes you can make in the afternoon and wear in the evening.

Lightweight Stretch Lace - Midnight Mystery has a small scalloped edge on both selvedges making it perfect for creating pretty sleeve edges and other hemline details. Excellent widthwise stretch and moderate stretch on the length enable one to add lace details such as pretty yokes, feature back panels or full lace tops to be worn over silk camisoles.  Simple raglan sleeved T-shirt style tops like the Frankie Tee from Tilly and the Buttons will look fabulous made with lace sleeves or with a lace overlay to the front body piece and plain black single jersey contrast. Apply the overlay method to other makes such as sheath dresses and tube skirts made in black scuba or how about over a contrasting colour for a different look? Take a look at the Apple Picker Dress from Sew Different, we love the idea of using multiple lace fabrics like Black Temptation to create an eye-catching colour-blocked effect!

Lurex and Lace's lightweight stretch lace is also ideal for bra making and other delicate lingerie uses.
