Serious Navy Stripe this herringbone woven shirt weight fabric is a stylish navy colour and features classic narrow stripes with a highly lustrous sheen that picks up the light with serious style. This is a designer fabric that you can quite literally dress up or dress down

Serious Navy Stripe conveys an air of serious style. Navy hues are classics for a reason, they sit with everything like black, but are less harsh for certain skin tones, and can pull together the most simple of outfits in an instant! Navy fabrics are super versatile and will make a plethora of versatile garments and you can utilise them for many other crafting uses too.

This super chic fabric has a crisp freshly laundered feel that’s malleable and drapey too, with good stability width and lengthwise. With great versatility will pleat, drape, tuck and gather to create excellent body and fullness and the polycotton combination makes for easy wear and easy care.

Garment Suggestions:

Serious Navy will make super smart dress shirts and formal shirts with pin tucks and pleated fronts. Pretty blouses with gathered details puffed sleeves and vintage-style cotton lace.  Create sophisticated dramatic styles too - look at vintage '80s patterns from Issey Miyake and Claude Montana for that iconic drama of the '80s.

Kimono-style robes are another stylish and useful garment you can create from this fab fabric. Mix with the other sibling fabrics for excellent colour blocking with its sister fabrics Pearl Mist & Classic Cream. The Sew Different - Jhoti Duster Jacket is such a versatile pattern not reserved for loungewear.

Other Uses:

Crafters add this not-so-plain fabric to your stash for use in patchwork, applique, toy making, and much more.

Very beautiful fabric and exactly what I expected! Haven't made anything with it yet but the fabric feels really nice which is always a bonus :D
Delivery is always fast although it seems to be a hit and miss for me because sometimes the parcel will get sent to my address but other times, it'll be sent to a collection point (quite far from my place) even if I've been waiting home all day for it (not fabworks fault).
