Geo Dress Pattern - Sew Different

The Pattern:

The Geo Dress is a relaxed batwing shape with a round neck. Its raglan sleeves creative strong geometric lines from the neckline all the way down to the side seams. These seams incorporate deep comfy pockets and are top-stitched for emphasis. The dress fits gently into the waist and hips  and finishes just above the knee (for 5ft 8 height). It pulls on over your head – no zip required.

Both of the Geo Dress example images here are made using Fabworks fabric; the cover shot (image 1) was made using a medium/heavyweight scuba, the gold & teal version (image 2) was made using our Walk Like An Egyptian single jersey, the white background palm print version (image 5) was made using a Crepe Textured Double Jersey (similar to a Ponte) from Fabworks Mill Shop (now sold out).

Suggested Fabrics:

Crepe, Viscose with good drape, Scuba, Jersey (with knitted fabrics it is recommended to make the size smaller than usual).

Fabric Quantities:

Fabric 150cm / 60” WIDE = 2.5m required (size 8-18)

Fabric 150cm / 60” WIDE = 3m required (size 20-26)

Fabric 112cm / 45” WIDE = 3.5m required (all sizes)
