Barley Beige - Silky Faux Suede this fabulous faux suede fabric is part of a small collection of solid-hued super soft, silky yet hard wearing low pile, suede look fabrics. Originally created for use in the soft furnishing industry.

Barley Beige is as its name suggests a classic natural beige that displays silken, lustrous multi-tones when draped and manipulated.

Barley Beige boasts a seriously soft and silky feel which begs to be stroked. The reverse side without the pile displays the fine twill weave which creates a strong, stable hand perfect for a multitude of hard-wearing soft furnishings. A soft and reassuringly weighty drape quality makes this first-rate fabric perfect for curtains and blinds.

Garment Suggestion:

We know you'll love the silky feel of this excellent fabric so much we're sure it will also make fabulous bomber jackets, aviator jackets and other faux suede apparel. Sew Different's Scoop Pinafore would make up like a dream!

Use alongside its siblings for colour coordinating with our Deluxe Velvets, and or independently to create super-smart styling with comfort. Create pleated/smocked detail- fabric manipulation techniques that showcase the lustrous sheen for the fronts of feature cushions.

NB;  Be sure to cut your curtains and other precious makes with the directional pile going downwards. This fabric is intended as a furnishing fabric so you should therefore seek the advice of a specialist furnishings cleaning company. Or conduct your own tests before making up.
