As of 3rd November 2026, we have improved our international delivery system to make online ordering from outside the UK  simpler, with clear costs at checkout and fewer delays.

All international orders are now sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so you pay for your goods, shipping and applicable duties and taxes together at checkout. There are no additional customs charges to pay to release your parcel when it reaches your country.

Do you ship to my country?

Fabworks can supply fabric to any address in Europe (EU & non-EU), North America, Central America & South America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia. All order must be sent to an exact address, excluding PO boxes.
Currently, we currently do not ship to Africa.

How does international delivery work? 🌍

Our new upgraded service takes care of all the costs for you. At checkout, you will now see a breakdown of:
- Your goods
- Shipping
- Applicable duties and taxes

This means you know the full cost breakdown before you pay, and you avoid separate customs payments before delivery. This also reduces delays, so your order can arrive quicker!

Previously, international orders were sent with duties and taxes unpaid, meaning customers were required to pay these charges once their parcel arrived in its destination country.

How much does international shipping cost? 🚛

Shipping charges are calculated using the weight of your goods and your delivery destination.
This system has replaced estimated shipping deposits that were used previously, giving you a clear shipping cost at checkout. You may find that shipping charges look lower than before because we no longer use deposits based on approximate weights.

When will my order be despatched? ⏱️

We despatch all international orders within 48 hours of receiving them. If there is a delay, we will contact you immediately.
Please remember that despatch time is the time we need to prepare and send your order. It does not include the time your parcel spends travelling to you.

Will my parcel be delayed at customs?

Paying applicable duties and taxes at checkout removes the need for your parcel to wait while you arrange payment, helping it move more smoothly through the delivery process.
Parcels may still be subject to routine customs checks, so occasional delays remain possible.

Why do international product prices look different?

The tax is now included in the unit price for all items.
Applicable duties, taxes and shipping are broken down at checkout, so you can review the total before placing your order.

Which products can I order internationally?

Wool fabrics have been prioritised and are now available to all international customers. Other ranges will become available as we complete their updates. 
We’re gradually expanding the products available for international delivery. Each item requires detailed product and customs information to support the new service, and we’re working through our catalogue of around 3,000 products. We aim to make the full catalogue available internationally over the next few months. If a product is not currently available for delivery to your country, it may still be awaiting this update. Thank you for your patience while we bring more of our range to you.

How will my order be packaged? 📦

All international orders are sent in cardboard box and recycled plastic mailer bags for extra security. We know how important it is for your fabrics to arrive safely. Every Fabworks Online order is securely packaged and thoroughly wrapped to protect it during its journey. Plastic mailing bags are made from 80% reclaimed materials. Each bag is 100% recyclable.
