Shades: Ivy Lattice is a heritage-inspired wool tweed featuring a diamond weave formed from opposing herringbone chevrons. Its interplay of light and dark heathered greens creates a subtle, sophisticated three-dimensional effect. The warp yarns are a soft blend of yellow and blue-based greens, and the weft yarns boast a rich, earthy green enhanced with fine copper threads that catch the light and add gentle warmth.
Design: Diamond Weave - Formed by squared, opposing herringbone chevrons that create a repeating lattice pattern defined by tonal contrast. This traditional structure highlights the tweed’s textural depth, reflecting the artistry of woven geometry inspired by nature’s ordered forms.
Properties:
Texture: This all wool Yorkshire Heritage Tweed features a classic wool outerwear texture that balances ruggedness with comfort. Typically fibrous, yet cosy and protective against the elements, naturally insulating, it traps air between fibres, providing warmth without being stifling. Breathable and resistant to wind, though not fully windproof.
Handle: The fabric holds its structure well and is stable along both the width and length, making it ideal for tailored garments like blazers or sport coats, and so much more. These traditional wool tweeds are perfect for soft furnishing and craft purposes.
