Textured 100% Irish Linen - Chocolate Box is just as its name suggests a lightly textured, cool, breathable 100% linen fabric, woven in a feature weave from fine linen yarns boasting all the qualities of this classic natural fibre with the characteristic finely slubbed linen look.

Linen has been used for centuries because of its beneficial properties cool and breathable, gets softer with washing & wear and linen is impervious to moths and resists dirt and stains. Linen will not form lint or pill and can be washed at high temperatures with only moderate shrinkage. The characteristic slubs, once viewed as a fault are now part of the aesthetic appeal of quality linen fabric.

Chocolate Box is a rich, dark chocolate brown hue. Perfect teamed with other natural hues, creams, camel and tan or simply chic as stand-alone statement pieces.

Properties:

Chocolate Box is light to medium weight, stable, cool, crisp and absorbent. This excellent fabric has a feature weave that resembles tiny blocks like glistening chocolate it also has a subtle sheen. This will form sharp details for super smart styles. At first, this classic fabric is crisp but will only improve with washing and wear. The fabric will drape beautifully in longer lengths and form pleats, tucks and gathers which will have a resilient body, softening with time.
