Introduction:
Soft Embrace - Peach Stripe Knit is a beautiful, light, airy sweater knit fabric.
Colour:
This excellent pastel peach colour is a fresh summertime classic, team it with other soft pastel hues or sits simply with white for a light and fresh palette.
Properties:
Soft Embrace is a combination of cotton and polyester fine yarns knitted in a fine mesh-like pattern giving this fabric a superb soft embrace-like feel that’s malleable slouchy and casual. Its loosely knitted horizontal stripes that alternate between the fine cotton 4cm stripe and thicker ribbed polyester stripe give the perfect soft texture for summer weight attire.
Boasting a light/medium weight handle with good natural width-wise stretch and slight stretch to the length. Because of this fabric’s loose-knit, hand-washing is recommended then reshaping whilst damp and flat dry.
Garment Suggestions:
Use Soft Embrace to create the perfect slouchy sweaters, think boat necks and Dolman sleeves. Also, simple vest tops and tunics are ideal for layering over white linen trousers and fresh white T-shirts. Team up with cotton interlock or ribbing to create neck and hip bands.
Perfect for creating simple cardigan shrugs and poncho-type wrap garments too.
This fabric has been photographed on a white background, and is naturally translucent due to its open-knit style. The overall colour of Soft Embrace is a warm peachy pink hue.
