Perfectly Imperfect Notice:
This beautiful Slinky Soft Touch Jersey (Lining) – True Blue, a rich jewel-toned regal blue, came to us with some minor imperfections caused during storage and handling. The fabric was folded on a bolt board, resulting in pressure marks appearing throughout its length. These marks have caused slight variations in the overall colouring where they occur, creating subtle tonal distortions against the vibrant blue background.
In addition to the pressure marks that appear approximately every 20cm, there is also a more noticeable pressure line running along the centre fold of the fabric when opened out. The fabric also displays occasional water-ripple markings throughout its length. Whilst these imperfections are visible on close inspection, they do not affect the softness, drape or usability of the fabric.
We've examined this fabric carefully and, whilst it isn't quite perfect, it remains perfectly serviceable and ideal for a wide variety of dressmaking, lining and craft projects. In true Fabworks fashion, we wouldn't offer anything we wouldn't be happy to use ourselves. This fabric still offers excellent value and quality, with imperfections that many makers will find easy to work around or incorporate into their projects.
