The Pattern:
The romance of the Scottish Highlands is alive and well in this authentic kilt, kilt skirt, and Prince Charlie jacket and vest. To complete the ensemble, knit the lacy vest for women and the argyle socks for men.
Included in the pattern: Instructions for measuring, pleating, and constructing the Traditional Kilt and Kilt Skirt (pattern pieces are unnecessary for the kilt and kilt skirt), pattern pieces and instructions for sewing the Jacket and Vest, plus knitting instructions for argyle socks and an easy-to-knit vest.
Please note: This guide will help you sew your own traditional Scottish kilt. Since authentic kilts aren’t made from pre-cut pattern pieces, these instructions show you how to create your kilt using your measurements and sizing.
