The soft polyester, viscose and elastane lycra-type jersey is coated with a stunning silver pearl-like metallic PU coating. The coating on this excellent fabric doesn't restrict the amount of stretch, making it perfect for close-fitting garments such as dance wear etc.
Properties:
Metallic Silver Pearl is a fabulous PU coated jersey fabric, boasting a close and fine-gauge knit construction which has a good, firm bounce-back elastic stretch. Also boasting a fluid, slinky drape quality too, making it ideal for blouse and drapey styles. Metallic trends are showing no signs of disappearing any time soon, so go ahead and create your own futuristic fashions!
Garment Suggestions:
This wonderful fabric will make superb leggings, bomber jackets, sweatshirts and cocoon coats. Drapey and fitted dresses would also makeup wonderfully in this fabric, think of gathered and ruched side seam details. Body-con dresses with cowl neck details as well as skater and fit and flare dresses would also make up beautifully in this Metallic Silver Pearl.
We recommend the use of ball point or stretch needles to avoid skipped stitches, also the use of Teflon foot or a walking foot.
