Introduction:

Humbug Stripe is a fabulously refreshing, black and white striped knitted (not printed), Ponte jersey fabric. The super horizontal humbug stripes are finely knitted with a 1cm pattern repeat.

Colour:

With all these redeeming features imagine a capsule wardrobe of key pieces which you can mix & match with your other basic staples, black and white stripes always look fresh and sporty and are easily incorporated with most other colours and tones.

Properties:

This excellent Ponte double jersey is made in a superfine gauge knit, from soft polyester and elastane to give a useful two-way stretch (slightly less and firmer stretch on the length) and a cosy medium weight, fabric with a reassuringly comfortable drape quality.

Garment Suggestions:

The 1cm pattern repeat makes it the perfect fabric for your Breton style tops, dresses and so much more; ideal for relaxed casual wear in the colder months.

Use Humbug Stripe to make comfortable and stylish clothing that falls away from the body rather than clinging. Create lounge pants and sweatshirts, tunic tops, Breton tops and artists smocks, long-belted cardigans, classic roll-neck tops, simple raglan sleeve tops, stylish shift dresses, simple skirts and so much more.
