This rainbow range of delightful new season fabrics has a colour choice for everyone. Group together in tonal harmony or contrast for eye-catching fun and frivolous colour-blocked styles. This silk and acetate blend fabric boasts all the usual characteristics of a quality crepe de chine; lightweight but not flimsy or too transparent, with added polyamide for durability.
Featuring a lightly textured, grainy feel, yet still soft and boasting a silky appearance (but not brash), you will be forgiven for thinking this is all silk as it has an almost sand-washed silk appearance. This stunner has the most beautiful cool feel and delicious drape, perfect for a multitude of feminine dressmaking purposes. Sunshine reminds us of a golden sunshine with an uplifting spring feel! A soft yellow tone that'll work perfectly with Flame Orange for an eye-catching combination. Equally perfect for teaming with the rainbow of other tones in the Oh So Soft Crepe de Chine range.
An ideal floaty, lightweight and drapey fabric for layering feminine drape details over ballgowns or evening dresses. Put Sunshine to good use for stand alone pieces such as elegant blouses and dresses, we love the trend for dreamy prairie dresses (The Wildergown from The Friday Pattern Co and Stitchless TV's Pontoon Tier Dress are perfect). Chic shirtdresses and drapey cowl-neck styles, such as dolman-sleeved popover dresses are simple and stylish. Smart work-wear shirts in classic styles will look wonderful in this fabric. It's even perfect for basic shell-style tops too. Use this versatile fabric to dress up your jeans for a quick smart/casual look!
