Blue Ink - Royal Oxford Designer Shirting was originally created for a top British designer. This fine Turkish cotton has excellent strength, a silken, high thread count, excellent breathability an amazingly soft and lightly textured feel. It features a complex weave that resembles micro building blocks!

These impeccable shirting fabrics are often made into dress shirts for formal occasions, but why save something so pleasing for a once-in-a-while occasion? We think this delightful fabric deserves a place in all our lives for some daily indulgence. 

Colour:

This pleasing complex woven fabric features silken yarns of natural white and deep inky blue, to produce a wonderful indigo mid-denim hue.

Make this stunning fabric into a multitude of styles, from seriously stylish dress shirts to semi-relaxed smart casual, (think quality shirt, jeans and blazer style). This will make an excellent alternative to blue chambray - think of this as "luxe chambray!"

Properties:

Blue Ink is soft and lightly textured thanks to its feature micro weave) and also stable and hard-wearing. It will hold crisp details such as collars, facings and cuffs for classic shirt making. But It shouldn't be consigned to only shirtmaking. Utilise the reassuringly soft drape and will form the prettiest full gathers for flounces, ruffles and tiered styles and show off a subtle lustre!
