Deep Ultramarine - Cotton Upholstery Velvet is a wonderfully soft and cosy fabric with a delicious heavy drape. Classic colour and classic composition for winning style whatever you choose to create.

Colour:

Lovers of dramatic and rich tones will appreciate this heritage-style blue velvet. Deep Ultramarine is a dreamy blue tone with a very classic heritage look and style. A classic for all the right reason,  it will sit within various style interiors from the 'country estate' floral styles of Sanderson to the complex and beguiling classics of William Morris to more minimalist Art Deco styles and beyond and create a confident timeless style.

Properties:

This cotton-rich velvet is created in a close weave. It boasts a super soft, dense and short semi-lustrous pile. It is very stable, width and lengthwise. Both super strong-perfect for upholstery and heavy curtains. 

Please be aware this fabric is only 122cm (48 inches) wide.

A heavy drape provides luxurious style opportunities. Although this fabric is not from the same origins as our other deluxe plain velvets it will sit with the harmonious range of solid colours in that range and is the perfect accompaniment to our Deluxe Printed Velvets to create points of interest and provide a break in otherwise busy schemes.

If a Sample is not sufficient, we suggest ordering 1 unit of Cut Length (half metre) for style ideas when planning new projects, wash testing & seeing a full pattern repeat.
