Shade: This opulent, embroidered, Faux Silk Dupion boasts a lustrous pearl grey base and is embellished with a machine embroidered repeating design in graduated silver and pewter thread.
Design: Faux Silk Dupion features the characteristic fine horizontal slubs of dupion and is embellished with an embroidered design of semi-metallic yarns resembling huge beaded chains.
Style: If you love modern glitz and glamour or need to furnish an area with an opulent graphic design, then this is the fabric for you. An almost Art Deco style makes this fabric perfect for adding the style of the 'Great Gatsby' era
Properties:
Texture: Faux Silk Dupion boasts a silky yet lightly horizontally grained texture. The feature embroidery has a typical metallic-lurex type texture with fine, closely embroidered, raised bead-like stitching.
Handle: This opulent but hardwearing polyester fabric is stable, width-wise and length-wise.
Drape: Faux Silk Dupion - Embroidered Bead Chain will drape reassuringly at length. The embroidered design areas do have more depth and therefore more structure.
