Topiary Check is an excellent quality 100% cotton medium weight fabric, woven in a complex weave, you just have to get up close to appreciate how superb it is. A black and white twisted yarn forms a neat overcheck which frames tiny alternating moss and black squares within, giving the appearance of a formal garden of moss-covered paving stones. Boasting a cosy, soft, lightly textured finish which produces a smart/casual look and feel.
It's stable and strong with a soft, medium weight drape quality, meaning that it is perfect for blazer jackets, waistcoats and smart/casual trousers. This suiting is also perfect for pinafore dresses, dungarees, shirt dresses and military-style jackets with epaulettes and useful pockets with flaps as well as being ideal for pencil and A-line skirts, fitted dresses, sheath and shift dresses as well as lightweight jackets and coats.
This versatile fabric can also be used for sturdy and hard-wearing craft purposes like aprons, bags and cushions.
