Large Irish Lambswool Blanket - Grey Check
Only 15 units of this product left
A big, heavy wool blanket for the sofa, the end of the bed or the boot of the car. The cloth was woven in Ireland by Avoca for its own throws. We took on the surplus, cut it to blanket size and finished it with a blanket stitch edge and rounded corners.
At 200 x 150cm, it is longer and wider than a standard large throw of 183 x 142cm (72 x 56 inches).
The blanket
Size: approx 200 x 150cm
Weight: approx 1.4kg
Composition: 100% Lambswool
Cloth: chunky Donegal basket weave, 453 GSM, woven in Ireland by Avoca
Edge: commission-made for Fabworks with a blanket-stitch on all four sides
The look
Cool ash greys in a chunky basket check, flecked with natural sandstone Donegal slubs. Rustic, heavy and warm, with a lovely drape.
Good to know
The open basket weave has a textured, loose handle. Keep it away from pet claws, hook and loop fastenings and rough surfaces to avoid pulls.
Cut and finished by us from surplus Avoca cloth. This is not an Avoca product.
Limited run. When it's gone, it's gone.
Care
Dry clean only.
