Cardinal Red - Cotton Upholstery Velvet is a wonderfully soft and cosy fabric with a delicious heavy drape. Classic colour and classic composition for winning style whatever you choose to create.

Lovers of classic rich and regal tones will appreciate this sumptuous Cardinal Red velvet. Cardinal Red is a classic redcurrant tone with a very opulent look and style. A classic for all the right reasons, it will sit with other rich jewel tones and create a confident timeless style.

Properties:

This cotton-rich velvet is created in a close weave. It boasts a super soft, dense and short semi-lustrous pile. It is very stable (width and lengthwise )and super strong-perfect for upholstery and heavy curtains. 

Please be aware this fabric is only 122cm / 48 inches in width.

A heavy drape provides luxurious style opportunities. Although this fabric is not from the same origins as our other deluxe plain velvets it will sit with the harmonious range of solid colours in that range and is the perfect accompaniment to our Deluxe Printed Velvets to create points of interest and provide a break in otherwise busy schemes.

If a Sample is not sufficient, we suggest ordering 1 unit of Cut Length (half metre) for style ideas when planning new projects, wash testing & seeing a full pattern repeat.
