This is a superfine twill weave, viscose & acetate lining in a solid mid-grey colour, called Pewter. It has good drape, is smooth to the touch, is light weight, and has a semi sheen to its appearance. This lining makes a great textural contrast to the Shetland Wool Tweed I’m am working with in tailoring, and so my preferred choice for that reason. Please note: the lining does fray a lot where it is cut. I purchased this fabric to line a bespoke tailored garment. Superfine, twill woven lining is a classical lining: one that I like for tailored garments, to line both the body and sleeve of a bespoke tailored jacket, which is what I am currently working on as a student bespoke tailor. Therefore, I highly recommend this product for its superb quality and to line all tailoring garments such as jackets, trousers, waistcoats, skirts, shift dresses, and coats.
