Overview:
This shimmering, sparkly wonder will subtly steal the show with its delicate, neutral shade! Luxe fabrics have hit the high street for fashion pieces we want to be seen in. Play the lead part and pay homage to style icons like Charlize Theron (in a certain perfume advertisement) or Shirley Bassey and Whitney in this stylish sequin fabric. Sequins are so accessible and shouldn't be reserved for special occasions.

Colour:
Shade: This delightful sequin tulle-mesh base fabric boasts a base of golden sand beige encrusted with shimmering clear sequins for an ethereal neutral-champagne-beige aesthetic.
Design: 6-7mm circular clear sequins are stitched in vertical, slightly overlapping rows to form an opulent, encrusted shimmering surface.
Style: Shimmer with classic style, as stylish as champagne. Glitzy, glamorous, occasion wear, whatever the occasion, you decide.
Properties:
Texture: This quality tulle/mesh-backed sequin fabric is cleverly created by stitching rows of interlocking clear sequins onto a nude-beige tulle/mesh base fabric. The linear edges have selvedges of 12cm and 10cm, which is excellent for utilising areas where you may wish to customise or for hems. The face side is lightly textured with a characteristic classic sequin feel, while the reverse is less textured. Clear nylon thread attaches the sequins on the face and fine beige acrylic yarn on the reverse.
The base colour and clear nature of the sequin make this fabric very translucent- we recommend the use of one of our slinky soft touch jersey fabrics to line semi structured garments.
Handle: This sparkling sequin fabric boasts a medium-weight and reassuring drape quality. Slight natural stretch width and bias-wise.
Drape: A reassuring drape quality.
Garment Suggestions:
Types: Imagine creating sheath-like dresses and slinky maxi skirts from Champagne Beige. We are talking seriously stylish here, this is not fancy dress sequins.
Create full-length figure-skimming dresses for proms, red-carpet events, dance wear, Cosplay, and carnival costumes. Combine with lycra, interlock, scuba, or silky soft-touch jersey. Create the perfect Great Gatsby dress with swinging fringing and stand out like a precious gem in your creations.
Simple Bomber and kimono-style jackets and shrugs will add a flash of glamour in Champagne Beige, lined with a quality silky soft touch lining fabric, then team with a simple camisole and jeans ensemble.
Other Uses:
Accessories: Create matching headbands, hats, purses and bags.
Furnishings: If luxe glamour isn't for you but you love the sparkle of sequins and luxury around your home, then create statement cushions with Champagne Beige.
Use a plain backing fabric in either velvet or suede for the ideal combination. Sequin fabric cushions are all over the high street and provide added pops of sparkle to otherwise plain decors - perfect for glamorous bedrooms and dressing rooms.
Upcycling: Use your offcuts by attaching them to the panels of an old denim jacket to create a unique and fun conversational piece!
