This finely woven linen and viscose challis is printed with a painterly palette of soft watercolour tones in hues of dark plum, puce pink, smokey navy blue, and muted teal green. This artful palette depicts a meadow full of elegant Iris and their slender arched leaves against a natural-ecru background. This muted palette has a faded elegance redolent of a vintage Liberty-style print.

Properties:

Iris Meadow is woven from superfine linen and viscose yarn to produce a close weave stable fabric with a light and breathable hand that's incredibly soft and malleable akin to superfine wool challis. This elegant fabric has a soft drape quality and is slightly translucent when held to the light. It will form neat, sharp details such as button bands collars, and cuffs with the help of some light interfacing, it will also gather, tuck, and pleat to form areas of fullness.
