Introduction:
Coconut Husk is a finely, woven pure linen fabric. A combination of strong, breathable yarns in classic brown produces a versatile fabric perfect to dress up or down. Consider this a luxe utility fabric.
Colour:
This super stylish crisp linen has black/brown bitter chocolate undertones that add depth and distinction. Super chic for elevating your summer makes.
Properties:
This stylish fabric has excellent stability and the most beautiful, reassuring drape quality which displays its fine sheen. (We think the coating on this fabric emulates a light wax finish), making it perfect for a mountain of uses from chic and smart to more outdoorsy styles.
This fabric will hold crisp details like collars and cuffs plus it will form superb ruffles, gathers and pleats. Drill and twill styles have perennial appeal, and classic browns will help to form key pieces within any wardrobe.
Garment Suggestions:
Create unique shirts and, shirtdresses (with a utility vibe), tunics and the most stylish and wearable dresses you will return to season after season, perfect for wearing throughout the seasons, layering up as we go into autumn/winter with cardigans, chunky tights and boots.
Emphasise the wonderful lustrous drape and create trench coat styles with sharp details; pocketed with flaps, epaulettes, self-fabric belts and metal hardware buttons.
Utility styles are super useful and never date. The Assembly Line Patterns are ideal for this, as are Merchant & Mills and The Maker's Atelier. There are of course lots of other fabulous pattern brands out there just choose patterns that let the fabric sell itself.
Home Furnishing:
Lightweight soft furnishings such as cushions, café curtains, lined blinds, etc.
